Tabaski

Port Bouet Tabaski moutons

Trucks arrive daily from the northern neighboring countries to unload hundreds of black-and-white sheep. Taxi drivers are helping their clients lift the struggling animals in the trunk. The air is thick with the smell of dung; excited boys pull obstinate rams by a rope on the horns. It's Tabaski this weekend.
